2. The Phillips reagent (TBDMS:t-butyldimethylsilyl chloride) is then reacted with the condensate to generate an intermediate acyl chloride.
3. finally, methyl esterification of the intermediate product was carried out with methanol and sodium hydroxide to obtain the final product 3-[[(1,1-dimethylethoxy) carbonyl]amino]-L-alanine methyl ester.
